Dont ruin my chances of free donuts on nights ;D There is indeed a nice signal gent at ERD to push them throufh, and quite often the computer at Baker Street lets it run. Oh so the computer does it eh. No nice gentlemen (or lady) monitoring the line between Baker Street and Aldgate East then? ;D[/quote] I'll remember that when all the Mets are let across the junction! ;D

I saw BB earlier, i will pester him into using a company PC, as he is now without at home. Much obliged, C5! I've never spoken to BB for ages (nor had a cup of coffee in OP cabin come to that... These custard creams will be out of date now!)

I am alive, just without t'internet! There's also one who always holds me on the Wimblewares beyond my departure time just for the sheer fun of putting a Circle in front of me! (Probably my mate Boxboy getting his own back cos I haven't played online Simsig with him for a while! ;D Cheeky b*gger! You always look engrossed in your newspaper so I leave you for a little bit longer Well you know where Marks and Spencer's is, they do a lovely range of biscuits and it is tradition that the visitor brings the "dunkables"! Also, since one of our signalman left the company for warmer climates, there has been some difficulties in actually finding a clean cup or some milk that isn't like yoghurt. However, don't let that put you off Alan!!

citysig can take the abuse, he's as hard as nails ;D Yes, bring it on ;D ;D Looks like I need to sort out one of my fellow colleagues as well. Letting all the Mets across the junction indeed. Which side are you on C5? You know we're meant to deny the commission we get ;D

LU move customers from A to B, they used to do it via 'C'.

I am an ex-Circle and Hammersmith man too both Train Op and Signalman (late posting I know but I am new!). Carl Graham (222 is waiting!) has retired as has Tom Lucas and Steve Daunt, but they are all well and enjoying retirement. I saw them just before Christmas. Mr Hickin is still there and doing a fine job. As for first come first serve, the first one into Wembley south gets priority over the one on Baker 5!

Never, C&H 'till I die. Which may be sooner than I think with all this pent up anti-Circle agression! Let's get one thing straight, the original Underground railway ran from Farringdon to Paddington. It didn't go North at Baker Street until later, which makes the so called 'Met Main' a branch line!!!

I'm not anti Hot & Cold Line!!! The Circle was a combination completed in 1884!
[goes off to discover when the 'Met Main' came along and put the spanner in the works!]

True, but it still makes the Met Main a branch line! If I swap my "C&H 'till I die" tag to "H&C 'till I die" instead, that should then cover it up nicely!

Agreed. I baese it on the tree principle....; first you get the trunk [Paddington to Farringdon] then you get the Branch[es] the Met {leaves off the correct appendage!}
Since when did a branch come before the trunk!
Still havent found what I'm lookin' for!
