Yesterday evening the Met, Hot & Cold , and Circle were invaded in an unprovoked attack by a smelly green train and it's even smellier driver.
Today the Mets representative at Earls Court handed the German sorry District controller a note saying that if his forces had not left Metropolitan territory by 11pm last night that this line would be at WAR, I have to tell you no such undertaking was received, and consequently this line is now at WAR.

Apparently the guilty party had only recently transferred from the Jubilee.

A yes, but i do believe the Met won that one. i remember reading that the Metropolitan Railway treated the Metropolitan District Railway like a naughty child. ;D |

Thanks for that useful advice, though I will definately pass on the effort required for the second item on that list. All that messing around with brown salad and half-cooked meat. I never said the room had a decent toilet did I ;D

Just when you talk about the District beating the Met in the one area of this forum reserved for discussion by the gentlemen of the real railway, it tends to spark a bit of friction ;D Naive teenager indeed.
