I don't know what to make of this station... it's a bit of a mish mash... Westbound has a canopy and original buildings, eastbound has a shoebox waiting room. At least the original stairway remains, and there is a curious remainder of a late 1960's style BR sign on the disused [north side] bridge girders! The booking office seems rather odd being stuffed into a corner, there is a lot of disused space that could be opened up for railway use... even a shop on site wouldnae go amiss.
But still, it is nice to see some aspects of its former glory still remain... I just hope LO are sympathetic to this.
