Will the ticket offices taken over by LO be provided with all of the standard LU accoutrement? In THIS THREAD it was stated that NR ticket offices taken over by LU would be upgraded to LU standards, but what about ticket offices taken over by LO?

Actually the stations taken over by LUL (Kew Gardens and Gunnersbury etc) will retain their NR Ticketing features and equipment until further notice. This will presumably be until they are closed permanently! I can see TfL closing a lot of the LO Ticket Offices to save money, I wonder what sort of Ticket Machines will be used though. TfL will be the procure for LO, so will they use TranSys, the PFI Contractor for ticketing used by LUL and Buses and having LUL style machines that have a room at the back, or follow a NR TOC model and have stand-alone ones? ?

For some reason I find it unlikely that a lot of LO ticket offices will be closed. The fact that LO runs alongside, connects to and serves many NR stations suggests to me that many ticket offices will remain open to sell through tickets to NR destinations, and that the stations whose ticket offices do succumb will be equipped with LO-branded MFMs that can sell NR tickets.
Has the LO division publically discussed the ticket office policies that will be enforced once it takes over?

A lot will depend on the integration of current staff into LUL - I think I just spotted a thread elsewhere where I shall expand in a moment......... (It's HERE BTW)

I understand fare collection on London Overground is only 40% of revenue at present.
Expect a more lively approach to collection - plus gating of key stations....
