Further to the earlier thread about a forum holiday which no-one seems particularly interested in does anyone have an interest in a weekend continental break? I have brochure that has various short stay (2 nights) trips to various places At varying prices depending on which hotel you stay at and the method used to get there. Examples as follows >> Paris = From £99 up to £179 PP Brussels = From £125 up to £165 pp Amsterdam = £169 up to £255 pp Prague = From £169 up to £299 pp Barcelona = From 169 up to £299 pp Rome £209 up to £279 pp New York = From 369 to £459 pp Further details will be posted later. Now remember these are long weekend breaks only so if anybody does have an interest put a reply herewith and your favoured destination. Then if enough folk do want such a trip further arrangements can be made.

Further to the earlier thread about a forum holiday which no-onr seems particlularly interested in does anyone have an interest in a weekend continental break? A friend of mine is in business specialising in group tours, he's also a transport nut (owns an RM). He can get better rates than by booking as individuals. If someone is serious in organising something I'm happy to make an introduction.

Thanks PP that is a good idea. If members would post preferences we'll be able to sort something.
I was thinking of a break in Paris. Travelling out on the friday via Eurostar with hotel booking inclusive. Meals at the hotel breakfast only ( Other meals wherever/whenever in the city.) Touring around doing whatever and returning on the monday.
These breaks can be had quite inexpensivesly.

Thanks PP that is a good idea. If members would post preferences we'll be able to sort something. In order to give you some idea of how much it might cost, I've asked him to work out a package for next spring with 20 people travelling. This won't be hard and fast but will give an idea of cost.

Show us the estimate PP please. It'll take him a few days to get sorted but as soon as he let's me know I'll post it.

Whilst waiting for PP's mate to sort something I have made some other enquiries to top up. A weekend break in Paris at 3* Hotel for 3 nights with only breakfast meal included and there and back by Eurostar from Waterloo would cost around £149 pp The outward journey would be in the friday and the return on the monday. The trip would be in May/June or September 2006.
If anybody likes this idea say so
