Brand new cleaning machine turned up at SMD last night between battery locos,was dumped on Engineer's head shunt and batteries went back to Ruislip.Is this going to replace the tunnel cleaning train?

We're not sure if it's a tunnel or ballast cleaner.All we've been told is it's not to be moved TFN.

Seen tonight's Eng notice,going back to Ruislip,what a waste of time that was.

I wouldnt be surprised if it is to replace the Tiunnel Cleaner, as I beleive it has a few faults with it.

I saw the 1938TS tunnel cleaner outside on Ruislip South Sdgs, next to the 4TC - is it to be broken up and used to stockpile parts for the museum 1938TS?
