Surprised that the new Kennington design does not anticipate the next service revision for Bank closure, when all Morden trains will be via Embankment. A new map layout will be required for that. And then when service reverts to normal after May, does the new layout remain, or revert to this version? Of course, a new map is required anyway to show the major closure, but another layout redesign at Kennington could have been avoided!

I was at Newbury Park today and whilst there took a look at the map on the wall opposite the ticket machines.
Nope, the bush telegraph has not told this station about the new Battersea Power Station extension having opened. Instead the two Northern line branches merge in to one and Kennington station is shown with a small black 'tick' (I think thats the correct name for the small line used to denote a station on London Transport Railway maps).

I was Hornchurch station today and the Tube Maps in the ticket hall racks were ether May 2019 or December 2020 !

A partial map showed up in TfL's tweet about the Northern Line closure that seems to have some changes to Kennington and Battersea Power Station, I hope these make it to the next edition of the full map as it looks much better, although difficult to see how fare zones would be squeezed in correctly here.

That looks awful. When learning to draw circuits years ago I was always taught to try and minimise unnecessary dog-legs, clearly this maxim doesn't extend to the presentation of the map which Beck allegedly based on circuit diagrams when he designed it. I wonder what he would think now?

I wonder what he would think now? Well, if they had drawn it right in the first place, they could have simply shown a line closure, rather than a major piece of new tunnelling!

I wonder what he would think now? Well, it may still be awful but I think it's an improvement on the same area in the current map.
