The 5th train will be going through the CLIP process in Waterloo depot for the rest of the year at least, so full service will be some time yet. the CLIP ‘bay’ 🤣 |

Before the covid 19 shutdown the Waterloo and City line needed 5 trains in service at peak times, so with only 4 trains available the timetable must be cut to suit this. Yes, it has been |

Just had a message from Central Line Head of Line Operations via the Leytonstone ASLEF WhatsApp that from tomorrow the Waterloo & City will be closed until after New Year
Passenger numbers down by 75% for the peaks this week And overall down to just 10% of pre-Covid levels. Forecasting 50+ ONAs (operator not available) on the Central Line over the next couple of days

Will the shut down of the line enable work to modify the stock to have the wheel chair bays fitted ? One train has already been completed, the existing timetable only requiring a 4 train service. Only one road is available in Waterloo depot to enable the work to be carried out. |

No, the line returns to the Monday to Friday only all day service using four trains at peak times (roughly 17 trains per hour)...
