All Week
Following the commissioning of CBTC signalling between Hammersmith and Monument via King’s Cross, Paddington (Circle) and Edgware Road and Liverpool Street and Stepney Green (SMA 0.5 to SMA 03), running times in these areas have been revised to reflect the faster automatic train operation.
In the re-signalled areas, the timetable resolution has changed to a ¼ minute.
Some first and last trains have been slightly retimed in consequence.
Mondays to Fridays
Stepping back of Train Operators has been introduced at Edgware Road during the morning and evening peak periods.
The number of trains required to operate the morning and evening peak services has been reduced from 33 to 31.
The two trains that stabled and started at Upminster Depot and Ealing Common Depot during the inter-peak period have been withdrawn.
The number of Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines trains starting and stabling at Upminster Depot has been reduced from three to two. One fewer train will start from Barking Sidings. The train will be changed over in the evening to facilitate stock rotation and maintenance.
The Metropolitan Line will operate additional trains between Baker Street and Aldgate during morning and evening peak periods, increasing the combined service with the Circle and Hammersmith & City Lines from 27 to 28tph between 07.15-09.30 and between 16.00-18.15.
Saturdays and Sundays
The rusty rail movements over Moorgate No. 35 crossover have been withdrawn.
Sundays
In connection with the introduction of CBTC operation, additional time has been scheduled between Latimer Road and Hammersmith to allow for manual operation.
