There were some unusually extended headway’s on the Victoria line on Saturday (26 June) running a max 5 mins service instead of the timetabled 120 seconds for most of the line.
What exactly was going on that day?

What exactly was going on that day? Sat 26 June - 19 train special service (usually 33) was operated due to shortage of Control room staff and later the shortage of trainstaff.

A special service was being operated on 4/8/21, easily given away by the train not being numbers in the 2xx series.

A special service was being operated on 4/8/21, easily given away by the train not being numbers in the 2xx series. When an emergency timetable is brought into operation, trains are renumbered 001 upwards, it is known as Plan B to operating staff. Normally the renumbering of trains takes place at Seven Sisters northbound platform, (platform 3).
