That reminds me of when the step-free access at Greenford was commissioned - not only did it fail, it did so with a film crew there. The look on the Project Manager's face was priceless!

Ya they mentioned today in a video, citing 10 lifts in total and 3 sets of escalators or something

What I find odd is the diagrams are the old style (blue background) the new style have a white background and have been used for a couple of years.

Would it be because Lift G is like overlapping with the other lift that goes to the other London Overground platform (in terms of a 2D lift diagram)?

Sudbury Hill on the Piccadilly line is the latest London Underground (LU) station to go step-free. Quinn Infrastructure was the main contractor for Knightsbridge. They went bust about a month ago.

The metallic(?) doors to the lift are installed at Harrow on the slow northbound platforms, but I had no time to take a picture.

Since late Nov 2021, work activity at Harrow-on-the-Hill has primarily centred around the open air walkways linking the new lift towers. Signage and line diagrams are in place, help and refuge points are wired in and the lifts themselves are powered up and illuminated behind mesh fencing. The only blue hoardings remaining are in the ticket hall: one masking the open air walkway and the other concealing the space leading to the lift to College Road (bus station and St. Anne’s shopping centre) on the unpaid side of the station. Knightsbridge: Fit-out works within the new station entrance are ongoing, including those to the lower passageway connecting the lift shafts. Installation has also begun on the three new lifts. Structural defects were found in work delivered by the developer, Carraig Investments, which have delayed opening the Brompton Road entrance. The developer has now implemented a solution and, in conjunction with London Underground, are progressing mitigation measures to ensure the entrance is opened as early as possible. The project has recently encountered challenges following the insolvency of a key supply chain partner, which has delayed the completion of the step-free-access elements of the project. This critical package of work will now need to be delivered by an alternative supply chain and we are developing recovery plans to mitigate the impact.
