Is there a historical archive record of all LT Underground and LUL posters? In London Transport days copies of all posters were glued to linen and rolled up for preservation. When Chiswick Works was being demolished lots of these were found in a storeroom. They were passed to the LT Museum and can be seen in the Museum Depot. There were several poster books. All are out of print.

Either Ian Allen (sic) or Platform 5 have produced one recently. However, I recall it was less than accurate, and didn't receive great reviews. There were stock-listings in the yearbooks by Jason Cross from Videozone/Train Crazy, published with slightly different names from arouns 2014, but most recently as "London Underground Yearbook". Unfortunatey, appears to have ended with the 2021 edition.

I was in the LT Museum shop at Covent Garden today and noticed that Doug Rose’s fantastic “Tiles of the Unexpected: Underground”, is now back in print as a second edition (without the slip case & separate drawings). Available from other sources, of course.

Tiles is not just for the tile enthusiast, as it contains early photos of the exteriors of the Yerkes tubes together with plans of each station showing subsequent modifications, and their position in relation to the surface streets.
