I've decided that the quickest way to make these images available to see is via Twitter, so I published 7 images there. The images are 1000 x 750 in size.
Alas, there is a typo, I meant NRM bus, not NEM.

I generally didn't remember seeing an artist impression of this side so it's cute

On my way home Friday I noticed the metal barriers have been removed and was just covered by some plastic barriers so must be about ready to open. I will be passing through this morning so will report back. Edit: Not yet open, still just plastic barriers atm. Got a quick photo on the way past so as with the others the quality isn't great. Further edit: By the time I was on my way home the barriers have been pushed back so you can now walk in as far as the ramp / stairs.

I have now published my photos on my Flickr photostream and below are a few more which may be of interest.
IlfordHill-New-Entrance-P1670920The back of the new station building as seen from a disabled parking space alongside it. Filmed looking east. IlfordHill-New-Entrance-P1670919The walkway to the York Road exit plus the footbridge. The brick structure with the arch is where the original footbridge was located. This was replaced as part of the project to upgrade the overhead wire power supply from 6.25kV AC to 25Kv AC Both the old footbridge and the walkway (before they were rebuilt) offered proper weather protection. IlfordHill-New-Entrance-P1670913This view shows both entrances at the western end of the station York Road and Ilford Hill.

Glad to say that Ilford station entrance has now reopened Which entrance? It cannot be the main one on Cranbrook Road as that one is nowhere near ready to open.
