Please let’s not go three days in a row with no guesses. Which means the last two days are still open. Question: Identify these stations and the link between them and the odd one out Location A: (click for a larger version) Location B: (click for a larger version) Location C: (click for a larger version) Location D: (click for a larger version) The insets in images B and D are numbered from left to right, those in image C from top to bottom.

A - Greenford Perivale. Inset is Northala Fields. B - Northfields. Insets are the North Star Public House, Ealing; Pitshanger Manor and the now closed Starvin Marvin's Diner in Perivale. C - Heathrow Central (Heathrow Express). Inset 1 is Christ the Saviour Parish Church, Ealing. Inset 2 unknown. D - Acton Central. Inset 1 is the Coronation clock tower, Northolt Village. Inset 2 is the Iron Duke on Hanger Lane.
My gut feel is the link between them is they're all in the London Borough of Ealing, excluding Heathrow Central which is in the London Borough of Hillingdon.

That’s not what’s on the answer sheet but I’m pretty sure you’re right there. Inset C2: (click for a larger version)

That's why I didn't recognise it!
I thought it was 'somewhere around the back of the Ealing Broadway Centre' but was a little bit too narrow in my searching on Google Maps!

Yep inset C2 is now Walpole Court, the answer sheet simply used a previous name: Inset C2: Ealing Studios [ howda62 ] (click for a larger version) Tom also correctly identified a couple of other insets: Inset A: Northala Fields, Northolt [ howda62 ] (click for a larger version) Inset B2: Pitzhanger Manor, Ealing [ humbug ] (click for a larger version) which I think means that's everything for this one. edit: I seem to have cocked up with some images and/or file names on this one, sorry, but I don't have time to debug right now

These stations used to be served by another line, except Heathrow Terminal 4

Nothing to do with which lines served these locations.

Hasn't the link already been solved?
"Link: These stations are all in the London Borough of Ealing, except Heathrow T4 which is in Hillingdon"

The link has been identified, it's just insets B1 and B3 that are outstanding here Inset B1: (click for a larger version) Inset B3: (click for a larger version)

Inset 3B looks like the sliproad off the A40 towards Perivale, with the 1950's style aluminium looking diner behind the hording. Might the pub be the Duke of Kent, by Pitshanger Lane?

It's the North Star in Ealing Broadway - which I identified back in September last year but was never credited for!
I was never credited for Starvin' Marvin's either...

Since taking the photo, Starvin' Marvin's has entirely vanished. Shame, it was a fun eatery in it's day.
