Today's question comes in a single part. It is slightly different to the typical ones in that it is not of LU trains or infrastructure, but you need to identify where on LU it was photographed from. (click for a larger version)

No, it's definitely east of Bromley-by-Bow - the station is almost due north of Canary Wharf, and you can see that the buildings are offset to the right of the photo.
Besides, the District only parallels the LT&SR a short distance west of Bromley-by-Bow before turning right and descending onto the Whitechapel & Bow.

Sorry TheOneKea, but we may need to get ChrisM to referee this disagreement If my memory serves me right, the housing estate you can see in the foreground is west of the now closed hospital (the old hospital occupying the land immediately south of ByB station) and is then followed by the DLR underpass (Stratford branch) before the DL & C2C routes divide to Bow Road & Fenchurch Street respectively (the so-called Bow triangle). ChrisM - can you advise

Hmmmmmmm. I was certain that this was east of Bromley-by-Bow, but thinking about it DWS may be right - although I still say that either way, the picture was taken almost due north from Canary Wharf.

Answer:
This photograph was taken by TMBA, who hasn't given me precise details of where he took the photo. I can say however that it was taken from the westbound between Bromley-by-Bow and Bow Road, which means it is west of Bromley by Bow.
