Well my own observation is this:
The image is a view contained within an OPO mirror, though whether that view has been reversed via the mirror is anyone's guess.

If its on the met, its going to have to be around Neasden Depot as it has a NR style shunt signal.

No, I don't think it's Oakwood, for reasons I can't articulate.
I still think this is somewhere on the Met - it can't be the District, as there aren't any areas like that on the District.

More specifically it is the siding viewed in the mirror at the SE end of platform 2 (which I think is the northbound platform).

Its the Eastbound platform, the overgrown track is the shunting neck at the West end of Cockfosters Depot. It was used when the train wash was this end of the depot, but the train wash was moved to the east end of the depot some years ago.
