Hmmmmm.
Maybe I was a bit hasty - the edge of the roof looked like classic Holden to me.
It's not in Kensington though, there's not a single station in Kensington with a frontage in that area. I agree with DavidH and say Kennington.

If it was South Ken then we would have to be looking at the rear cab of an eastbound train (even number = west end).
I agree that it's Earls Court platform 3.

There's no possible way it could be Earl's Court platform 3!
I say Barons Court, on the w/b local.

There's no possible way it could be Earl's Court platform 3! I say Barons Court, on the w/b local. Based on what adw has said regarding train numbering, we're looking at the West end of a unit (from the driver's side). Therefore it cannot be Barons Court WB, as the platform is on the offside for trains on the local. Also, the platform canopy does not extend to the far end of the platforms. I'm sticking with ECT platform 3!

There's summat about that house above the unit, that reminds me of somewhere - why is it a different colour to the rest of the building either side? Can't pin where it is, but it does look familliar...

Answer: It is humble pie for TOK today, this photograph by Aspect was taken looking north from the west end of Earl's Court. He did not mention to me which platform it was though.

Why is it that my internet connection dies on the one day I could get one of these right! Definitely platform 3 though, and for a nice interesting piece of info, the residents of the shown building are the reason that Earls Court have the noise abatement order! ;D

Answer:It is humble pie for TOK today, this photograph by Aspect was taken looking north from the west end of Earl's Court. He did not mention to me which platform it was though. It was indeed Platform 3 ! I don't think I'd have got it if I didn't know where I took it !!! There is a tendancy to assume the massive glass roof at Earl's Court runs the whole length of the platform ! The inspiration for that picture was the one taken by whoever it was in the Xmas quiz of houses behind the station view at Wimbledon. Seth ... well done ...you obviously spent far too long gazing in the sky and not enough time answering passenger questions and looking at train describers !!!! ;D ;D
