May I ask if trains can reverse EB-WB at the cross-over?

May I ask if trains can reverse EB-WB at the cross-over? There used to be at least two of these a day when I worked Circles. We reversed at S Ken. It was always a pain to get the drunks off before you did the evening shunts. Often we didn't used to bother, so we'd phone the Running Inspector at Baker St to get BTP to remove them at BKE. We also had turns which required you to back shunt at Baker St. Plat. 5 to Plat 2 or Plat 3 to Plat 6 IIRC. They stopped it when C Stock arrived because the rear trip was inoperative.
