In the interest of member power:
Now that the Chat Board is password protected, there is effectively no need to retain the recently added last 25 posts option at the bottom of the forum.
That said, using the recently added option only shows you selected boards; where as the last 25 post option at the very bottom in the info centre will show all boards (except chat).
So the question is, would you like us to retain both or return to just the one which shows the lot?

Bump!
Come on folks - we have 300+ members on here and only 10 of you have made your feelings known.
Even if it's the "I don't care" option, at least tell us what you'd like to see happen.

Well, if the results stay as they are you'll find the members being very helpful - 3 say keep, 3 say delete and 5 of us (including me) don't care either way! If this was Wikipedia, this would be declared a "no consensus" result, which means the status quo remains.

I have to agree with Colin here, we have been given the opportunity to participate in a free vote and it surprises me that very few have chosen to reply.

I don't use this function, I just browse forums at my leisure, so I'd say keep things the way they are.

I voted to keep it. It is a lot easier to hit the 25 posts button, then search every thread. Only a few threads will be updated, at any one time.

I think there might be a bit of confusion here. What Colin is asking us about is (I presume) the "25 most recent LU topics" posts button (the big red HERE); not the "25 most recent posts" on all threads button.
The former is a workaround created to stop the chat thread overwhelming the all-threads button, which is a standard Proboards feature. That chat thread is no longer shown on the all threads button (even for those of us who have access), but there are others (e.g. introduictions and personal updates) that are shown on the all threads button but not the LU topics.

Ok folks, on the basis of the above, the "Last 25 LUL post's" option stays.
