A looks familiar, somewhere on the GOBLIN.
D is however home to the only team in North London (White Hart Lane to be precise)
EDIT: Maybe A is Blackhorse Road
Maybe the link is colours and 3 are black and one is white?
Could C be Blackwall maybe?

Errrr ... I think B might be Blackfriars Location B: Blackfriars - emergency exit from west end of westbound platform [Chris M] (click for a larger version) A looks familiar, somewhere on the GOBLIN. EDIT: Maybe A is Blackhorse Road Location A: Blackhorse Road - mirror at top of stairs to westbound Goblin [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Could C be Blackwall maybe? Location C: Blackwall - eastbound mirror and view to East India [Chris M] (click for a larger version) D is however home to the only team in North London (White Hart Lane to be precise) Location D: White Hart Lane - roof of ticket hall from stairs to platform 1 [Chris M] (click for a larger version) Maybe the link is colours and 3 are black and one is white? No maybe about it: These are all black stations, except White Hart Lane. Inset D is New Romney on the RHDR. Inset D: RHDR - Tunnel entrance at New Romney [ stuartroy] (click for a larger version) Which just leaves a handful of insets: Inset A: (click for a larger version) Inset B: (click for a larger version) Inset C: (click for a larger version)

Inset B is: "On 7 April 2006, a memorial was inaugurated in Oslo, near the Akershus Fortress. It features a mother with her child and a large commemorative plaque with the names of all the victims of the fire" [on MS Scandinavian Star - which had more names in its sad life than you could shake a stick at].
However, I am at a loss to determine any connection with either LT, TfL or LOROL.
Inset C is on the Mid Hants Railway - I think - possibly Arlesford.

However, I am at a loss to determine any connection with either LT, TfL or LOROL. The distinction between a location and an inset/background is, at it's most basic, the former require a connection with the railway operations of TFL, irs predecessors, subsidiaries or contractors while the latter do not.

Well it's quite a long way from the Regent's Canal, so I wouldn't use a canal boat for the search on this occasion!

Is C somewhere on the Tallyllyn? I'm not sure if it helps, but in a quiet moment in the off-peak, mrfs42 and I unrolled a signalling diagram of the Victoria Line along the floor in the building visible in the distance - it was the only place we could have the document fully unfolded (IIRC about 20' long). That Blockman is quite dashing, even if I do say so myself.

Wharf station, but I can't place the wooden building. Is it all one picture?
