Can anyone name five stations on London Underground only with the same word in their names. I know of two possible sets of 5.

Does putting the word station at the end count? 'Cos if it does, I know quite a few!

Do I take it you mean a name with one word in common, not necessarily a 'Place' name?
If so, I've got a list of seventeen with a word in common........

Any good?

If so, I've got a list of seventeen with a word in common........ 17?!! - there's always an awkward person!!! ;D ;D Ok, as an example, (now you can't use it!): PARK - Upton PARK PARK Royal St James's PARK Tufnell PARK Regent's PARK (I think I can see your 17 now Dave!!) It can be a place, compass point, type of road, whatever - as long as the same word appears in all five station names.

'Park' was the word I had in mind, and as you've spotted one I didn't, that makes eighteen!....
(Goes to look for more such words.....)

I was thinking if you could include Silverlink's North London Line, which also features on the tube map (I know I'm cheating now), you could have place-names as the actual word itself:
ACTON Town West ACTON East ACTON North ACTON ACTON Central South ACTON
Or
East FINCHLEY FINCHLEY Central FINCHLEY Road FINCHLEY Road & Frognal West FINCHLEY
Ealing and Harrow have a few stations on the map, but only four each

I'm liking your answers everyone, but there's still more!!
Just to clarify, I did say at the start that they should be London underground stations. This means stations owned or served by LUL trains, so the North London line and Docklands Light Railway don't count i'm afraid.
Now keep going!! ;D ;D
