I share your frustration OP, the Up platform's dot matrix at Fulham Broadway is often incorrect, so much so I wonder if there's a monkey in the control room flipping a coin guessing whether it's an Edgware Road train or a 'City via Victoria'.

Related, today, had an Edgware Road on the board, and when the S Stock train glided in, it had Tower Hill as its destination much to the bemusement to many passengers (admittedly myself too). I have to say riding it to Monument, it just didn't feel right, the openness of these walk through trains seems to make people more gabby, or is the S Stock just generally more noisy with its AC and 'bing-bong' doors I wonder. I'll be missing the Ds when they go...
