on NR metals they have the NR standards for everything which can publically be viewed at www.rgs-online.co.uki was wondering if there was a similar website for LU. I want to make correctly sized Signals/BMBs for my central line.

I assume that you're talking about the 'Working Reference Manual'?
Whilst it is accesible, unfortunately LU have made this available to staff only and if they register details including employee number etc.
Sorry that's not much help on this topic.

I assume this is for a trainsim, in which case I would think that the people who have already designed LT-based trainsims might be willing to share their dimensional information with you. Failing that, a perusal of platform-mounted signals together with an extremely discreet tape-measure can provide you with the basics - I think the main lens diameter is 8" on surface signals, for example. LT stations are unfortunately (but understandably) not camera- or tape-measure-friendly places these days, unless one is extremely circumspect. A more thorough and leisurely measuring process can be had on the signal samples available for inspection at Acton Town Museum open days, and that is the course of action I would most recommend. I hope to be taking my tape-measure to the next open day for exactly the same purpose - there are lots of good signal bits stashed in the boxes on the shelves.
In the meantime, there is no lack of decent pictures of signals (on DD's own site, for example) from which reasonable dimensional estimates can be made. How accurate do you wish your signals to be?

Depending how quick you want the details maybe I can help. At Epping Cabin in the Relay Room is a dismantled signal, Theatre Type Route Indicator and Shunt Signal, ID plates too.
You're more than welcome to go there and do your stuff.

Speaking of Epping cabin, I wonder when it will be opened to the public (or to the folks with their ear to the ground...)
Last I heard CHTL was turning it into a museum, surrounding Hainault (LL) frame. What else is planned?
