I know this might be slightly off thread, but are there any other cases of Mainline trains "wrong sticking" on to the LU network anywhere? I don't know about a wrong stick but I believe the class 47 hauled BR breakdown train from West Ruislip to Kilburn via the sidings at Ickenham and through Rayners Lane, on the day of the Kilburn tube crash was an unfortunate first for the Met line.

Marylebone locos were turned round using the Wembley Stadium loop line.
