to be published next year, and I'd be grateful for any views on what it's like to shepherd commuters into work and back again. I'd like to be able to offer a perspective from the other side of the barrier - I want to open the eyes of what I hope will be my commuter readers to all the energy that's spent on making their journeys as unremarkable as possible. I'd also like to try to put them in the shoes of the people who get them from a to b. Please let me know your thoughts I will of course give credit where it's due
PS - I have a tenuous connection to working on the underground: in 1979 I was a labourer for Mallacarp Terrazo and helped re-tile platform 10 at Baker Street - I will be writing about the mice

That sounds very interesting indeed, I'm sure it will be a real eye-opener for us punters. Good luck with it!

Thanks! It'll be a lot more positive than the usual doom and gloom written about commuting all best Iain
