Hopefully I'm not duplicating another thread, but I've been wondering for a long time if it is possible to find out if there are any regular diagrams for battery locos. I know that Ruislip Depot chuck out a steady procession around midnight on Friday nights, but other than that it's difficult to track them down, especially day time workings. Can anyone offer any hints or tips? Bit of a shameless plug, but here is a link to the shots I've managed so far. Because LUL have good lighting it is possible to get decent night shots of moving trains at certain stations like Alperton and Rayners Lane; mainlinesouth.smugmug.com/Trains/London-Underground/17834982_GCFkbt#!i=1557185443&k=ngQh2gF&lb=1&s=XL

Generally battery locos don't run to any regular pattern there is often a day train run from lillie bridge to ruislip and return would usually set out around 11am from one or the other tuesdays and Fridays generally but they aren't guaranteed often a train might run from ruislip to harrow and then to Watford for turning but again these are organised as and when. If you're looking for engineers trains then the Rayners branch is the place to be from mid morning to early afternoon and you might get lucky. The weedkilling trains out and about this week on the met if you're in the area

I've seen loads at West Harrow and Harrow. As said, a lot of moves take place down the Met. The extra unused fast lines stop the engineering trains getting in the way!

Thanks for the replies :-)
I find it tricky hanging around too long on a station in this day and age, so I'll probably stick to relying on luck! Must admit, it's always a bonus when an engineering train passes, be it Railhead Treatment, battery locos or otherwise.

Train 777 is the Weedkilling train, makes a strange sight especially on the deep level tube.
