Tube Fares versus UK House Prices 1990-2013.
Which do you consider has risen the fastest since 1990?
Is it tube fares or UK House Prices??
I think that tube fare rises have outstripped UK house prices since 1990. (Remember house prices were going downhill between 1990 and 1997, when negative equity and recessions bit hard).

Food has increased by less I think - at least at the junk end of the scale. I can remember being able to get a jumbo sausage and chips for 90p in the 80s and 25 years later you can find the same for £2. A doner kebab was £2 and is now £5.
