only it would not fit in the deep tube tunnels i seen one at NYC - which they have normal maintence subway train loaded with rails and sends to the Tunnels (new build tunnels) and workers unload it and prepare for welding but its Possible if section has already tunneled after bore machines has passed through - they could lay own tracks on it means less work in future - only needs wires and lighting and power - once the tunnels has completed - trains can run straightaway after last piece has done |
