Glad to see my £60 p/m deal with Virgin is going to pay off with WIFI on the tube However, I still don't understand how a friend of mine who lives above Pimlico Station can't get cable internet until 2014 because he lives in non-cabled area, but the station below him can. Just the world we live in I guess... Toby.

The building above was until recently the Office for National Statistics so its strange that there's no decent Internet in that building.

I'm wondering how they're going to authenticate who's on which network? You could be an O2 customer who's not on the free list but have a Virgin Media cable or broadband account holder which uses BT's landline network.
