After all the recent hiatus, Wednesday has come trundling along and brought along its friend, the four-part question and its companion the odd-one-out: Identify these stations and the link between them and the odd one out: Station A: (click for a larger version) Station B: (click for a larger version) Station C: (click for a larger version) Station D: (click for a larger version)

I initially thought Cyprus for A, but the houses in the background don't look right. I'm going to plump for Beckton Park.

D is Gants Hill. (Bearing in mind my user name, I will have egg on my face if I am wrong.)
I think that the subway in the picture is the one that you get to if you go straight ahead out of the barriers. Turn right at the end of that subway, then go left up the slope to where the cinema used to be.

The church and boats in A look very much like Leigh-on-sea.

A is definitely Cyprus, whilst the buildings may not look like the University, they show the Cyprus estate. Beckton Park is all park and not much on the other side. The inset has been used before in another quiz so Leigh on Sea it definitely is
Drat - someone beat me to B - Ruislip Manor + 1
C - Canning Town + 1 veiwed from near the Stratford International Branch platforms
D - Piccadilly Circus?
Inset B - Some obscure bookshop where the person has left it to go tanning.

A bit late today:
A - I'm really not sure if this is my photo or not so I'll take the safe option and not answer unless I told it's not mine in the meantime. B - Woodford? D - Gants Hill (Subway under roundabout)

What happened to getting the answers for this one? Was wondering the same thing..... More so that today's quiz has been set My fault with that one, I generally have a look what's going on before I go to bed; I think either the Quizmaster or other Quizmistress was online last night (though I now think that this was a ProBoards glitch) so I just hit the sack. This morning I checked the forum from my phone whilst still in bed and realised that no-one had posted todays quiz so it was a simple copy and paste manouvre to do so. However as this day's was a multi-part thing I really need an actual computer to create a decent post with the multiple copying and pasting needed. I then realised that I needed to leave home for work, so left it until I got home or another of the quiz team did it - I see that Quizmistress cso has done the honours for you all. The quiz team always try our hardest for you all, but sometimes you will need (to quote Miranda Hart) "bear with....."

My internet gremlins have returned - an engineer came to fix the line, but it still wont connect (likely a problem at the TalkTalk end this time though) and broke the other connection that I was using as backup in the process (and can't fix it as that is BT not BT via TalkTalk). We now suspect that the installation of the other connection was what broke the first connection in the first place! It took a week from the first report to getting the engineer out this time, hopefully it wont take as long this time (and that when the second connection is fixed it doesn't break the first one again!).
This means that my online time is limited to when I can find it elsewhere, currently I'm in the library where I can browse some of the internet but not read my email or upload the quiz (I uploaded until the 13th from a friend's the other day).

Is the link something to do with the TfL line running along a previously National Rail alignment?

This is not a history question, nor related to National Rail.

Semi right... wrong station, and it's about Roundabouts but not quite what you've got.
