Does anyone know how to edit a tube map? Some users here show edited London Underground maps and I want to learn how to. Can you show me how? Thank you.

I used my favourite photo editing software Adobe Fireworks to do mine. farm7.static.flickr.com/6129/5978933603_caa64fee15_o.pngThere's no programme made to solely edit Tube Maps and you'll need some editing skills. Just like with photos the more skills you have the better map you'll be to make.

Personally, I use Illustrator and a copy of a tube map from TfL (PDF of course.)
Like Deep Level said, you need skill to edit these maps (or in my case, dealing with floating branches and interchange symbols...)

At the moment I'm working on a program to do just that. The goal is to be able to show the underground as it was at any time using any of the topological styles that have been used. It's quite a large project, though, so it won't be ready in the near future.
