NOT LU - BUT A MUST HAVE!!

Go into the route file of the route you are running the train on and in the first few lines there will be a sentence saying Route.Change 1 Change the one to a zero and the train will start shut down leaving all the startups to do manually.

To add to what bvedmu said, this is a deliberate feature which allows route authors to select the starting condition appropriate for a particular service, either:

- control desk shut down, engine stopped, or
- control desk switched on, engine idling, headlights set.

You will see it used when the new version of Maybank arrives sometime in the next few weeks.
