Damn. Old Street has some special rules around it, let me check...
...I'll go for the option listed in clause b) i) 1) and go for Croxley. It's the only one I can think of!

re Deep Level and shapes. True, but not if we're playing by the Damascus Taxi Drivers' Rules.

I thought Stations which share their names with shapes were banned since 1997? a common misconception, it actually only applies to orthogonal shapes, and only on Thursdays. Had I seen that when you posted, I might have been tempted by Queen's Park, but now the soup is out of the tureen and the badgers are out, I think it can only be Kensal Rise

According to para 6.1.5(a)/45 of the Bourne Memorandum, the next move ought to be Down Street.

Down Street is the correct answer. That's exactly what l have on the answer sheet.
Well Done.

It's not a pity as the rules state that should someone mention the word "Game Over" and it's not proceeded by "Mornington Crescent" then it actually means something else, it being a Friday means that Castlebar has actually responded with Willesden Junction.
I then respond with the only thing that I can respond to that with in August and that's West Ruislip.

Too bad it's a Friday then, because I'm going to blow you all away with this: Northolt.

It's definitely Friday, making your response not as exciting as you first hoped as it's easily countered with...Osterly.

On a Saturday during an Olympic period the only sane response to that is South Bermondsey

If we're talking bell ringing I will bob to play Whitechapel Road! I like! I see that and I raise you with London Bridge Doubles (Grandsire Bob with an Earls Court Single). Have spent the afternoon at Cliffords Pleasure (as it were).

Ah ha! I can leap in with cunning Imperial Wharf here and restrict the next player to east of the Lea (or Lee, the clerk was inconsistent).

As that's closed for the duration of the Olympics I'll follow up with Pudding Mill Lane. But then you have disabled all other possibilities but Camden Town.
