Mrs. D and I passed through Rayners Lane on the Met line this morning and I noticed quite a sizeable gang working on the track in the old coal sidings. Does anyone have any idea what is happening here?

I imagine the best use for that space would be car parking. Maybe that's what it's going towards?

They were there again today clearing away all of the rubbish and other debris that has collected there. Extending the car park seems feasible, though the car park already seems quite generous as it is to me. Then again, I've only ever seen it empty.
