I'll be out of London by the time this happens so would appreciate a few posts to outline the start of the C Stock demise!

Bah! I won't be able to get it on the first day. I have school.
Same question as above really, will it operate on Saturday 8th?

I noted an S Stock test train on the eastbound circle at Baker St on Weds morning about 10.30. Didn't get the number as I was in a rush.

A Train Operator at each end I guess, with limited reversing space at Hammersmith (all three platforms normally needed). With this being an extra service, in addition to the normal 5-minute service to/from Hammersmith, I would also guess that there won't be hoards of people on each departure (apart from you and me ;D ;D), as the previous one would be only 2-3 minutes in front.

Will S7 be on be operated on Saturday 8th July 2012? Same question as above really, will it operate on Saturday 8th? I don't know the answer to the question, but it should be noted that information such as that posted above for weekdays can only be taken as a guide at best. Being training paths they'll only operate if required, so they're not guaranteed to run even if the timetable for Saturdays exists - it all depends on the training needs on the day. How the can the train arrive into Hammersmith at 10:27 then depart a minute later..? Again I don't know the answer - it may well be one of those posted above - but the S7 training runs are out of service aren't they? If so, physically fit drivers aside, being empty will no doubt help with the quick turnarounds....

Not sure. I'm going to Cardiff next weekend so I'll probably end up on one when I come back from Paddington knowing my luck! ;D

Not sure. I'm going to Cardiff next weekend so I'll probably end up on one when I come back from Paddington knowing my luck! ;D If any of us board the train on day 1, should we all agree to sit in a particular place / identify ourselves in a particular way? For example, the gangway to the east of the Hammersmith-most car, and the adjacent seats? If someone sees a lot of weirdos in such a position, taking photos and pointing out the compressor noise, they'll know to say hi?

I shall be standing on my head in 23301 next to the first left hand door if I ride it on Day 1.

0858 HMS-MGT 0940 MGT-HMS 1012 HMS-MGT 1055 MGT-HMS
A slight amendment to what I posted last week, the late evening trip does not run in passenger service but the Saturday one does.
