Looking at the upcoming engineering work for next quarter,all closures of Mile End for refubishment work have been cancelled till at least the new year.

I believe it's Metronet scaling back their workload and costs.

So it begins...
I wonder if there will be major suspensions of refurbishment work on Metronet turf - I can't see TfL being impressed with half-finished stations being left as they are for extended periods.

Nor do I expect H&S to be particularly keen on leaving stations half finished. I can't remember particularly about Mile End, but certainly at Earls Court the scaffolding restricts platform space considerably.
