Has anyone noticed that Tube Lines apears to be suffering from some sort of schizophrenia when it comes to the provision, design and implementation of the station refurbishments on their patch?
I was at Kennington a few days ago and was thoroughly impressed with the quality, thoroughness and style of the refurbishment - I thought it was absolutely awesome! Compare and contrast with the refurbishment at Buffalo & Rook, which seems relatively blah, and the one at Knightsbridge, which brings to mind a JLE station!!

E&C is a Metronet project, might explain why it looks so 'blah' ;D

Well, the one at B&R looks blah because it's tiling the Bakerloo platforms in black!
The Northern Line platforms appear to be marginally better, and once the final project is done I'm sure it will look nice, but not as good as Kennington...
