If, as has been proposed/suggested, the DLR reuses the platform tunnels at Charing Cross Jubilee, would there be enough space for the DLR route to diverge towards Victroia and for the Jubilee Line to retain the use of the Green Park end of the tunnels for a crossover and one or two sidings long enough for a train to stable clear of the crossover?
(sorry if this is in the wrong place, I couldn't decide between here, stations, Jubilee Line, DLR or RIPS boards)

Even if there isn't, it wouldn't be that big an issue to use the TBM to drive towards CX and then divert to one side and drive a side tunnel to link up to the old turnaround tunnels for the Jubilee Line, then reverse and go back to the station and carry on as planned.

Quail says that the junction is 30m away from Green Park, or 950m from Charing Cross.
Didn't realise it was so close to Green Park station...

Absolutely, if you stand at the junction at the four foot flat bottom points you get a good view of the Green Park platform. The points were the only part of the signalling between Charing Cross and Green Park that were maintained by the Northern line signals which maintained the JLE, as a Piccadilly line TO I maintained signalling on the original Jubilee from Charing Cross to Stanmore.

i thought the bakerloo maintained the jubilee south of finchley road or has that changed? I know they used to and i remember when i first passed out we used to do point failures at waterloo. The Bakerloo and the Met had the original Jubilee signal maintenance split at Finchley Road as you say. IIRC it was when InfraCo JNP became Tube Lines that we took over maintenance of the Jubilee from the Bakerloo & Met, Picc signals did the original Jubilee maintenance and Northern signals did JLE maintenance. In the process Wembley Pk and Finchley Road depots became Tube Lines and the maintenance staff at those depots had the chance to stay with the Met or join Tube LInes which most of them did. In the event Finchley Road became an unmanned depot covered only in times of failure or when we were doing night maintenance. The staff at Wembley Park thus became Picc Line signals and on the Picc we closed Heathrow, Northfields, Hammersmith and Kings Cross depots maintaintaining the entire Picc + Charing Cross-Stanmore from Arnos Grove, Earls Court control room, Acton Town & Wembley Park depots. Just before I retired in 2005 two of my former colleagues, one from Acton Town and one from Wembley Park moved to Neasden as SOMs on the new Jubilee signal maintenance section to take over maintenance of the whole line AFAIR with staff being transferred in from Picc and Northern lines. I believe there were SOMs drawn from the Northern too but I know little of the Jubilee organsiation as it was formed subsequent to my leaving service. Nevertheless my understanding is that close liaison remained between the three Tube Lines signal sections, for instance Northern SOMs would cover the Picc when all the Picc SOMs were away at Flagstaff House or other gatherings and vice versa. I even got to cover Cobourg Street a couple of times in the early days of Tube Lines.

And how is J Z these days? J Z? Regards, Dan Ah okay you're not with Jubilee signal maintenance then, otherwise you'd know to whom I am referring!

D'oh - brain fade! Just realised who it is, met him a few times while on a placement with the team looking at bringing TBTC under Operations control. Not sure what's happening with Signals to be honest since the reorganisation, I think the teams are no longer line based. Last I heard was that he was still at Neasden.
Regards,
Dan

Regards, Dan Well done, brain fade comes easily to me now having completed just short of six years in retirement. I am aware of the reorganisation, my understanding is that TLL will only be doing call work now, one of my former colleagues who was the Picc incident manager has just taken severance and AIUI the reorganisation will see the loss of both lineman and point fitters. Last I heard the location(s) of TLL signal managers on the three lines and their numbers were still being decided.
