I remember back not so long ago pre TBTC I thought trains were pritty quick off the mark in tripcock mode however not as much power at higher speeds. Under TBTC trains are faster at higher speeds. Why was the Jubilee line faster off the mark in tripcock than ATO?

With manual driving you'd get more variety; some drivers would accelerate aggressively and some would do it more sluggishly, with TBTC it's all moderate.
