Hi there - First off, let me clarify that I don't mean this as an attack on anyone. I am genuinely curious.
What constitutes Good Service/Minor Delays/Severe Delays?
An example would be this morning on the Jubilee. I get into Waterloo at about 820 from Wimbledon on SWT and get to a crowded Jubilee Line eastbound platform at about 825ish. There hadn't been a train in 3 minutes and we had to wait another 4 minutes for one to show up (7 min gap in service) then the next one was 5 minutes away then the next was 1 minute and the one I finally got on was 4 minutes after that. Now, when the service is running normally, we seem to get trains every 2-3 minutes max. We then proceeded to hold at every station between Waterloo and Canary Wharf for quite some time. I didn't arrive at Canary Wharf until 9:12 which is a massive delay (partly owing to the fact that I couldn't get on any trains until the 4th one)
This scenario is described by TFL as a "Good Service" - Shouldn't this surely have been "Minor Delays"??

A good service on the Jubilee is every 3-6 minutes in the peak , off peak it is 4-8 minutes. Officially speaking that is.

Normally on a good day at Waterloo that time in the morning it is usually every 2 to 3 mins, so I would have called that minor delays. And minor delays on the Jub means you are in for a horrible journey. Must be even worse for those waiting at London B. If I have to travel through Waterloo that time and it looks anything like that, I am straight out of the tube onto the Clipper

How much is the Clipper? Can you travel by Oyster on it?
