The motor falling off the train on the Central line didn't have anything to do with ATO did it? I thought it was a general fault that was stupidly neglected. I travel on the Central line quite often and have done for the past...20 years nearly and I have only ever been caught in a delay three times. That's the problem with the tube, they try and upgrade it and before it gets there, it brings the capital almost to a stand still. They say they've learnt from the mistakes made here, but I guarantee that won't be the case.

The 'slam' of the ATO has been put to blame for extra fatigue. But it was a flawed design anyway, so that can only exacerbate the problem.

I've been stuck on it twice for 15 mins or so twice this year all ready, and I don't use it every day! Admittedly, I try to use it more than the Jubilee at the moment, which I am doing my best to avoid as it is obviously going to be a bit intermittent for a few months whilst they sort out a few issues.

My cousins had it bad last year. They told me they were stuck between Mile End and Bethnal Green for over half hour. I guess the Central line loves me? ;D
The line I usually find has problems when I use it is the District or Jubilee. The last time I was held up on the Central line was last month at Bethnal Green because the doors on the left side of the train wouldn't open, so they had to take the train out of service but luckily, there was a train less than a minute behind it.
