Why loop round the Stratford map, by the way? It would be more user friendly in a straight line and make more sense. Remembering that the DLR system map is the least part geographical!

Another suggestion:
An interchange note at West India Quay for trains to Bank and Tower Gateway. I say that because for someone travelling from somewhere between Canary Wharf and Lewisham to Bank/TG, it would be much easier to change at WIQ for a train to those to destinations, whereas at Poplar you would need to change and cross the footbridge.

I want my various DLR maps to have some relation to each other and the original. Having a two columned loop makes sense, and still works with the way I have things setup.

I see no harm keeping it as a curved map Its a good idea IMO, that each of the 4 DLR maps have something distinctive about them. With the tube maps we have the colours for the route, overground is a little more difficult to differentiate.
I am trying to ensure I use a double or single width map, but with some lines like the District and Northern, a three width map may be needed.

Just saw on the Beckton to Tower Gateway map, there is no note for Lewisham anywhere. Might want to include this at Poplar.

What's left? Remember to put 'DLR trains to Bank and Tower Gateway' at WIQ on the Lewisham - Stratford map too!
Brilliant otherwise ;D

The maps look great!! Just a minor thing I have noticed. Shouldn't there be a small NR logo at Tower Gateway?

The webspace where I posted the images has been down today, so the images are not appearing.
EDIT: The webspace is working again

No, there shouldn't. Great work, by the way. Fenchurch St. Station is a marked interchange on the official maps. Yes, but that's a mistake too. The only NR indication should be in a lozenge underneath saying "(for) Fenchurch Street" (which there is), NOT a full-size symbol next to the station name, as there isn't an NR station called Tower Gateway. Similarly, one edition of the District/Circle/H&C in-car maps wrongly put an NR symbol next to Embankment aswell as the smaller symbol in the lozenge indicating Charing Cross. This was, rightly, removed on the next reprint.

I just tried your app on my WP7. It works great, very smooth. It will be even better with maps, keep up the good work I've just downloaded and installed the app too, any idea when it will be updated to include the maps? Will the maps feature 'live' disruptions e.g. no service between X & Y? Simon

I cant give any specific dates, but I can say the free app wont be getting maps, until we can put advertising in place. For now, the maps are intended for the premium version of the app. With the DLR routes done, I only have the last of the underground lines and the river left to do. So as a final image to post on here, this is the metropolitan line map!

Given that from tomorrow there will be through trains from central London to all branches, you probably want to show the Watford and Chesham branches in the same manner you show the Uxbridge one.

Thanks for the heads up! I am still waiting to hear back from TfL on getting up-to-date line diagrams as reference, instead of relying on photos from the web, and comparing them to the current tube map.

What about a note at Wembley Park saying that during off peak times and during weekends, fast and semi fast trains call there.

Will the maps show service disruptions like I suggested? To be honest I like the current version of the app but I can get service status from the TfL webpage and keep a downloaded copy of the tube map in Adobe, so what would I get for my £ (or preferebly p)? {Edit : OK, had a look at your website but the screenshots of 'London Travel Pro' don't give much away!} It may just be me being fussy, but I having the southern most station (Aldgate) at the top of the map seems wrong to me. The same can be said for the DLR map that has Lewisham branch to the right of the Woolwich branch (reply 38). Oh, and the Viccy map too. Simon
