For those who think B is Kenton or Kensal Green, you can not see the building on top of Wembley Central from those, but you certainly can see it from North Wembley. Also the signal gantry seen over the end of the up platform building was stuck through the drains for the up side toilets that were unavailable from 1964.

Sticking neck out: The link is that they all have 'North' in the name; C is the odd one out as it is ~ N, the others are N ~.
So D is North Ealing.

For the odd one out - North Harrow as it's the only one served by SSL trains?
EDIT: "North" had something to do with it, so that's gotta be wrong

your're right, trains are not relevant to this question

If trains are not relevant, perhaps it is B that is the odd one out as the only one showing track. (Never realized Chris M had been so close to my gaff. North Acton is my nearest LUL-only station, but I've never seen it at night.)

North Wembley is the odd one out for not having a corresponding south.
As for the North Acton picture, that was taken very shortly after dusk about a week and a half ago en route from Clapham North (where I took the photo of that station that appears in this question) to Willesden Junction. It's the last time I take the bus between Acton and Willesden in anything resembling the rush hour though - it would probably have been quicker to walk!
