PA announcements at Harlesden are virtually unknown. There are no modern dot matrix boards on the platform. All we have is the monitor at one end of the platform which quite often displays a list of trains bearing no relation to the actual time of day - arrive on the platform at 14:30 and the next train indicated on the monitor is the 08:20 to Elephant & Castle. Why are some LO stations being so severely neglected in terms of passenger information?

As has been said on other threads, but Harlesden is actually a London Underground managed and staffed station whereas the platform screens date back back quite a few years to Silverlink and are derived from Network Rail data systems.

There is a project in hand to upgrade all the former Silverlink DC stations. This will include new information displays. The rest of the facilities will also be brought up to LUL standards over the next 12 months.
