Would "London Rd" have anything to do with the answer?

That they are termini are not directly relevant. Thinking about why Morden is the terminus may help.

Something to do with there being a proposed extension south of Morden, but the Southern Railway objecting?

They were all never originally proposed to be termini, except Vauxhall?
My knowledge of line construction is decidedly lacking, but I'm basing this on that Lewisham wasn't originally proposed to be a DLR terminus.

Not sure if that's the case or not, but either way it's a link between the four stations and not an odd one out we are after.

Is this as simple as the stations all being part of extensions to the original line?

It's nothing to do with extensions, it's a geography question not a history question.

They are all the southern-most station starting with their letter? ie: Lewisham: Southern-most station starting with L Morden: Southern-most station starting with M Richmond: Southern-most station starting with R Vauxhall: Southern-most station starting with V Also, in the order listed above on a standard mobile phone keypad the number would be 5678 [1]. [1]As per the G.O.S.1-P system of numbering, 22 673 and 22 403 take note

You are very very close, but the names of the stations are not relevant. The 5678 is complete coincidence!

It can't be the southern-most stations in the following:
* Zone (Richmond and Morden both being in zone 4) * London Borough (Both vauxhall and brixton are in Lambeth) * Former county (we know that they aren't relevant) * Line (since Vauxhall isn't at the end of the line)

Southernmost station on their respective lines in their respective zones? (This is rather contrived)

Southernmost station on their respective lines in their respective zones? (This is rather contrived) I think I get what you mean, and it'll do for me. All are the southernmost stations Lewisham - southernmost DLR station Vauxhall - southernmost Zone 1 station Morden - southernmost LU station Richmond - southernmost Overground station.
