I see that the black light-boxes on platforms 1 and 2 have been removed and replaced with the current style of dot-matrix displays, which were already working this morning.
A similar new one is now working on platform 3, the original 1908 DR display is still in situ, although sadly now not working, shame !

A similar new one is now working on platform 3, the original 1908 DR display is still in situ, although sadly now not working, shame ! It was working when I came through, however the dot matrix has been positioned so close to it, it couldn't be read from most of the platform ...pointless, why have two indicators at one end and none at the other ! So thats the positioning of the new indicators at Gloucester Road and Earl's Court they have made a right royal mess of !!! Another oddity I noticed one slow moving day the other week was the light box at Cannon Street w/b (with flourescent back lit destination and incandesant back lit train sequence numbers) was actually showing the first 3 trains ...the first time I have seen that ... I didn't realise it even had "3"'s on it !!!

The black light-box at Cannon Street are just 'modern' (1960/70s) versions of the 1908 DR originals, same workings- different show.
Most installations of the 1908 type had 1 2 3 displays, it was only Earl's Court and Gloucester Road that had the one train pointer variety.
I understand it may only be the EALING description not working at Gloucester Road WB but it still looks imminent for removal.
