Might anyone be able to point me in the right direction of a track diagram of the triangle that includes High Street Kensington and Earls Court Stations before 1957? There is a diagram of this in 'Steam to Silver' but it stops short of both of these stations and their respective trackwork.
Many thanks!

Here is a diagram that I've cobbled together from various sources. I can't guarantee that it is completely accurate but it should give an idea of the area. You may have to zoom in to see some of the detail; it was drawn to a nominal A0 page size.

And - independent report - I saved it a while ago and it's brilliant. Answers all your questions including the ones you never thought of! Thanks again Harsig.

The Cromwll curve would have come in useful somewhat during the circle line closures back in 04 (I think?)

The Cromwll curve would have come in useful somewhat during the circle line closures back in 04 (I think?) It would have, but it would be quite useless the rest of the time. So the tracks in which it would have occupied are better used (as they are) for train stabling. By the way, excellent map Harsig, and great request Benedict. I've learnt a lot from that map. For starters I never knew that South Kensington once had a bay track.
