That works really really well to have the curves. You can get the RER E to La Defense easily (why don't you have the 1/A interchange at La Defense more explicit?), though other things, like the 5 extension south of Place d'Italie and the 14 northern extension to Porte de Saint-Owen would need station names moved.

Glad you both like Paris All-Curves. Madrid has just been completed in the same style.
As a tourist in Paris, I wanted the map to reflect tourist concerns, and, if I interpret the map correctly, Line 1 gets you to La Defense for the price of a standard ticket, but because La Defense is out of the central zone, RER A to there requires a more expensive ticket. I've confined all RER lines to the central zone, to emphasise that any more ambitious use requires extra money (it also requires navigation of one of the worst information systems I have ever seen).
Looking forward to RATP finishing off Line 14. Can they do it before the Crossrail opens?
