Hi all.
I've been wondering where Mansion House station gets its name from.
To me, it's kind of weird because a mansion is a type of house isn't it. So.. you know
Thanks in advance

There are only three Mansion House's in England, of course the one in London, one in York, and one in my home town Doncaster (hence the reason I know this fact ! )

The Lord Mayor of Newcastle upon Tyne also "lives" in a building named the Mansion House.
