I was out with my bf today when we noticed a prototype - half silver and half modern. it started at richmond where my bf first noticed and then was headed for tower hill we managed to get a pic at westminster this is strange. i thought the prototype been refurbished?

This was probably the prototype refurb 7008/8008... It's not the same as the other refurbs, and I am not sure if this will be modified to be the same as all the others...

Really this is just weird as we travel on the district line often and havent seen it any other time it was quite a shock actually.

It would be weird if they did not do it up but great in another way as their would still be one silver beast on the network got some good shots of it will post here as soon as i get my broadband back on

when is the D stock refurb program set to end?
it would be good to keep this unit as having a heritage silver train would be good.

yea you are right they are just over half way i believe it would be great to get a list of all the referbished unit numbers has anyone got a list
